    Hi, Clems.

I have tried a few Online Surveys before and I totally agree with you that they pay peanuts. The time invested vs the return are totally not worth it.

Online Survey is definitely not the tool to earn an Online Income that can replace your job.

Thanks for this insightful article on Online Paid Surveys.

      Hello, Edmund.

      Thanks for your comment.

I consider online paid survey as a total waste of time; at least it has wasted mine, instead the time wasted could be channel towards something much more profitable.

I am glad you like the article.

    Great post Clems,
I’ve always wondered if all the ads and pages I have come across about paid surveys were anything close to the truth. It always seemed a bit far fetched that you could generate a decent income from taking them. Have you heard of ad revenue share sites? I’ve recently been doing a little research into them and would love your opinion.
    keep up the great posts.

    regards, Julian

      Hi, Julian.

You can check my #1 recommenation up here to see if it suits you.

      Thanks for dropping by.

Scam – definitely not I’m afraid! I know of many people making good money through trusted platforms like Clixsense. Boring work – yes definitely! It’s not the type of thing I would do online for money. I actually promote Clixsense as an affiliate and I have over 400 referrals there who love the site and the surveys they offer. Demographics cause low survey completions but I couldn’t ever call them a scam ( unless YOU are paying to take them! )

      Hi, Chris.

Thank you for your comment, and yes, there are some real great survey sites like the one you mentioned. But the thing is, can you really make money taking surveys whether its the one you mention here or any other one, and make enough to live comfortably off it? Is 20 minutes of your time worth a paltry $.50?

I think the time you spend taking surveys can be used on better and more profitable ventures like THIS:

    Hi Clemz,

Thank you for posting this article about online-paid -surveys. Personally I have not done this but was tempted on many occasions to try it out. Your post helps me with that decision. You also say that mid-way through a survey, you get disqualified. Any reason why this happens? Thanks.

    • clems

      Hi, Rodney

I think one of the main reasons you maybe disqualified is if the information you are giving is not relevant to what they need at that particular time.

Again if the places has already been taken by some other people, you may also be disqualified.

      I hope this help.

      Thanks for your comment.

I must agree with you I have had the very same experience with online surveys, also I will admit I still do some surveys for only a few companies today. I do the surveys with the few companies I do because I enjoy doing them, I do them on my time and when I am in the mood, I do not receive money I receive points to cash in for gift cards. The gift cards have come in handy at times, but you can not earn enough to be worth spending too much time.

I agree with you if your seeking a true income online you require to get the right training from the right program, I also have confidence in Wealthy Affiliate Program. Very few training programs offer a free membership to try them out , if your wishing to get into a online business training is a must.

    Hello!

I think you covered this topic nicely, capturing very important points. I have done surveys before but gave it up cause it is not worth doing. I did make some money but the effort was way to big comparing the sum I made. I think people rarely calculate ROI on time and effort, just thinking about money but it is wrong.

    Good work, thanks!

This is a great overview, Clems. I’ve done some online surveys before too and I’ve found the same thing. You can make money with them, but you don’t make very much (it took me a month or 3 to earn $50) because of all the restrictions and the low payouts. I’ve since switched to affiliate marketing and find the payout for time investment to be so much better!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I have been courting the survey companies for a while and they do indeed pay almost nothing for the time spent. If something interesting is on your way you may receive a message telling you the survey is not available anymore. The Wealthy Affiliate Program is indeed the good place to start winning money by working online.

  10. I think most people who are just starting out looking to make money online are just looking for ways to make money that doesn’t require much work. While the thought of making money online is exciting, we should never get the idea that it’s not going to take a lot of work, a lot of study, research time and a lot of self education as well as some sort of monetary investment. It’s like a good friend of mine used to always say, (There aint no such thang as a free lunch.) I guess you can tell we are from Texas, Lol. Don’t get me wrong, because there are some fun and exciting ways to make money on line, and I’m not just talking extra income. Millions of people are making great money online every day. The key is, to make sure you are getting involved in something you know a lot about and love doing. For example, I saw that Wealthy Affiliate mentioned earlier. I happen to be a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate, and it’s the best thing anyone who wants to make money online could ever stumble across, because they provide everything you will ever need to get involved in whatever it is that you know about and love doing, while making whatever kind of money you want to make, depending on how much you put into it, because just like another friend of mine once told me on the golf coarse, (You can’t have what you haven’t earned.

I have never been a fan of online surveys either, Clems.

They take like forever to qualify and what you earn for your time is simply not worth the effort for me.

I know that it works for some people, but, personally I would very much want to do something that actually offers great value to people as well as financial renumeration for my service.

    What do you think?

    • clems

I couldn`t agree with more, George, online paid survey is a complete waste of time, I rather spend my valuable assets (time) where I am sure of making something worthwhile even if it takes longer than playing a game of probability as paid survey.

You can look at my Review of Wealthy Affiliate Here to decide if you would like something like this.

Thanks for dropping by and stay blessed!

Online surveys are dreadful and a complete waste of time. You made a great point that I agree with totally.

For the time wasted with online surveys, you can build a legitimate online business with the potential to earn 6 figures annually. For most people, that is a life-changing amount of money.

I would much rather learn from your recommended program. That makes so much more sense.

    • clems

Thanks Gary, for stopping by and for dropping a comment on this site.

Like I stated in the article above, and as you have also laid it, I found online surveys a total waste of ones precious time and resources.

I spent over five years doing surveys and never earn anything close to what I generated within the first three months in my formative years as an affiliate marketer.

      Thank you once again, Gary.

  13. Chris

99 percent of survey sites are definitely not scams – they may pay a low wage but they do pay on time!
I have no problem with these sites and actually have over 300 referrals for one of the more popular ones – earning me a tidy wage every week! I personally don’t like filling out surveys but they do pay!

    • clems

This is an issue i’ve found with most paid survey companies. The money is not really in the survey but in the number of referrals you have, and that I find a bit odd because, the original message people receive is get paid for surveys and the get paid for referrals,Lol.

All the same, thanks,Chris for your comment and for giving My readers a new perspective on the topic.
